Follow the Steps Below to Start Streamlining Your Workflow!

As a Valued Drake Tax® Customer, you never have to leave your Drake Tax Software® to utilize GruntWorx.

Step 1: Select your Client and Product Type, upload up to 10 files and click Submit.
Step 2: After a job is completed, you receive an email letting you know it is ready for download. Navigate back to your GruntWorx window in Drake Tax® and go to the Job Status tab.
Step 3: Locate your client and check the box to the far left of the client row, then click Download in the bottom of the window.
Step 4: Close GruntWorx and open your client’s Data Entry Screen.
Step 5:Follow prompts to complete the GruntWorx Workflow!

GruntWorx Products include Organize, Populate, Trade Details and Trade Summary.

Organize is our base product and is included with every single job submitted to GruntWorx. This product automates the process for organizing and bookmarking tax documents. Upload your client’s tax documents and GruntWorx Organize sorts, labels and bookmarks the pages into the order of a standard 1040. The Organized PDF is stored in your Drake® Documents and is searchable, making record retention and recall a breeze.
Populate is the next logical step in fully automating your 1040 tax preparation. GruntWorx takes federal form data from your client’s source documents and fills in the Data Entry Screens in your Drake Tax Software®. See the list of Supported Forms & Fields here.
Trades helps you automatically import capital gains from a year-end brokerage statement or federal form 1099-B into your client’s 8949 and Schedule D. Choose Trade Details to have every line item extracted or Trade Summary to have category totals extracted.

These products can be used in either GruntWorxLITE or VERIFIED Service.

GruntWorxLITE Service includes technology only. Choose to add on Populate, Trade Details or Trade Summary at no extra cost. Because there is no human data review provided by GruntWorx, users are responsible for the accuracy of the data that is imported. The Self-Validation Tool is provided to you to quickly and easily check each page for quality.
VERIFIED Service is our most popular solution! It includes technology plus GruntWorx Staff Human Review for a second set of eyes on the data to review for accuracy. Process any GruntWorx Products through VERIFIED Service for near-perfect results.
