Employee Onboarding Specialist

The onboarding specialist is responsible for guiding new employees through the initial phase of their employment, ensuring a smooth transition into their role and the company. The goal is to make new hires feel welcomed, supported, and prepared to start their position at Gruntworx.

Duties and responsibilities:
Extends initial job offer to candidates.
Submits pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Monitors employee onboarding progress.
Completes I-9 verification.
Serves as the main point of contact for new hires.
Provides managers with onboarding status updates.

Required skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong time management skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
Ability to work independently or with a team.

Experience in one or more of the following is a bonus:
Paylocity
Excel
Hiring procedures

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
